Me again

I should be in bed now.

Did I mention that EVERYONE here is drunk and that I cannot find the question mark or numerous other punctuation marks...

Did I mention that I visited Eze and Menton in France which are so picturesque you will just have to look them up online and then just wish you were there...

Did I mention that Gaudi is great and that it is a pity about his Jesus fixation and that he is dead...

Did I mention that I should be in bed...and that I cannot find the question mark or numerous other punctuation marks...

Did I mention that I shared a six bed room with a family of five and that there were three CHILDREN in my room...

Did I mention that the father of the family was a bit strange and gave me his telephone number and address and said that I could stay with them whenever I was in Denmark...

Did I mention that dirty old men of any nationality are diry old men...

Did I mention that I should be in bed...and that I cannot find the question mark or any other punctuation mark or the question mark...or the exclamation mark...oh woe is me...

Hey babe!

Ah, sounds delightful! Haven't checked out your blog in a while and I found the story about the endearing French child quite amusing! And the fact that people asked you whether you were Aborginal even more so!

Rachel.

db and nix - I saw the giant yabbie and laughed out loud, thinking of the two of you! I was tempted to take a pic but thought I could just look at yours.

Parc Guell is delightful - it reminded of Hundertwasser's stuff and I was sure that Gaudi inspired him at some point or another. The Familia Sagrada totally rocked my world. I was drawn to it like I've never been drawn to a building before. Something swelled inside me and I wanted to cry with joy at the knowledge that something like that is being built now - i.e. being built for the pure joy of architecture and art, to fulfill a vision, even though the visionary has long since died. No matter that the project has been underway for over one hundred years and is only just over halfway completed. I revel in the fact that people will still be working on this building after I die. It's wonderful.

Patatas bravas also rock my world. I just had a nice big serving of them not half an hour ago. Yummo. I'll be happy to eat yet another serving on your behalf, nix. In fact, if there's any other kind of foodstuff that anybody would like me to eat on their behalf, I'd be happy to (provided it's veg)! Place your orders now!

No-one in Spain has asked me if I'm Aboriginal yet. I think most people in Spain think I'm Spanish just by looking at me. People keep asking me things in rapid Spanish on the street - directions, how to use the public phones, for cigarette papers and lighters, etc.

There seem to be lots of dreadlocks and piercings in Spain. And fisherman pants. I like.
